POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Recruiting Manager serves as the primary liaison between the company and prospective candidates, especially for roles that require specialized qualifications or that are difficult to fill. This role will involves leveraging databases, advertising, and professional networks to source and evaluate potential candidates.
The position will oversee recruiting processes such as screening, interviewing, and onboarding and ensuring a seamless candidate experience during their transition into employment. This role will also partner with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
· Collaborates with department hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
· Manages the job posting and advertisement processes.
· Attends and participates in college job fairs, recruiting sessions, conferences, and other hiring opportunities as needed.
· Organizes and facilitates hiring events.
· Screens applications and selects qualified candidates, in partnership with hiring managers.
· Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials, in partnership with hiring managers.
· Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
· Works with staffing agencies for temporary contract labor and/or seasonal J-1 Visa students/H-2Bs whichever is applicable.
· Complete any necessary documentation for interns and school requirements.
- Assists with housing and transportation duties for associates, including H-2Bs, J-1 students and interns.
· Collaborate with the hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
· Communicates with new hire on onboarding process, ensuring all steps (background checks, documentation, and electronic onboarding) are completed on time.
· Ensure property documentation is filed for each new hire and maintain personnel file(s).
· Track referrals and sign-on bonuses if applicable for payroll reporting.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
· Collaborates with marketing team to enhance and update any re-branding items.
· Optimize our career website, work with marketing team to share content on social media and continue to utilize business and recruitment focused platforms.
· Performs research techniques through professional job sites, networking, and personal interaction.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
· Experience: At least 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process. Experience: At least 3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process for J-1 students, H-2Bs and interns.
· Required: Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed.
· Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Fluent in English language; bilingual is a bonus.
· Ability to travel to specific recruitment events when required.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics always with a positive attitude.
· Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent interviewing skills, efficiently ask questions to help understand applicant’s skill level and company job requirements.
· Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
· Proficient with applicant-tracking systems, database management, internet search methods, background screenings and/or other recruitment systems.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficient with working with scheduling tools; creating appointments, events, organizing meetings and interviews, etc.

- Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
· Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment.
· Stamina to sit for extended periods of time.
· Strength to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
· Vision to read printed materials and computer screens with dexterity to utilize computer equipment.
· Hearing and clear speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
· Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
· Flexible schedule: days and times may vary based on need; this is not a remote position.
